Common

Next frame

Command that increases the current animation frame by one. If the current frame is the last animation frame, the first frame of the animation will become current frame.

Prev frame

Command that decreases the current animation frame by one. If the current frame is the first animation frame, the last frame of the animation will become current frame.

Next key

Command that sets the current animation frame to the next key frame. If there is no key frame until the end of the animation, the first key frame of the animation will become current frame.

Prev key

Command that sets the current animation frame to the previous key frame. If there is no key frame until the beginning of the animation, the last key frame of the animation will become current frame.

First frame

Command that sets the current animation frame to the first animation frame.

Last frame

Command that sets the current animation frame to the last animation frame.

First key

Command that sets the current animation frame to the first key frame of the animation.

Last key

Command that sets the current animation frame to the last key frame of the animation.

Goto frame

Command that opens the Choose frame to goto Dialog where the desired frame can be entered. View From Env Tool

Modify

Inc key frame

Command that moves the current key frame to the next animation frame. Key frame channel values are not affected.

If the current frame is not a key frame the current frame is increased by one unless the next frame is a key frame.

Dec key frame

Command that moves the current key frame to the previous animation frame. Key frame channel values are not affected.

If the current frame is not a key frame the current frame is decreased by one unless the previous frame is a key frame.

Set key frame

Command that opens the Offset frame Dialog that lets you enter the frame number that the current key frame is supposed to be moved to. If the destination frame already is a key frame the Overwrite keyframe Dialog opens that lets you overwrite the existing key frame. Key frame channel values are not affected by the move.

If the current frame is not a key frame the current frame is set to the destination frame number.

Stretch animation

Command that increases/decreases the number of frames of an animation without changing the animation length. The dialog that opens lets you enter the desired seconds per frame value. The animation parameters and frames are changed according to the desired frame duration while the length of the animation stays the same.

Offset animation

Command that moves a specified frame range of the animation forward or backward. The Please specify offset params Dialog lets you define

  • the desired offset in frames, and
  • the frame range to offset through start and stop frame.

The frame range has to include at least one key frame for the command to produce any effect.

Record path

Tool that lets you record animation key frames in fly mode.

Create channel

Command that creates a new channel for the selected envelope with the name specified in the Create channel Dialog.

Clear channel

Command that sets all key frame values of the channel specified in the Clear channel Dialog to 0. It only affects the selected envelopes.

Delete channel

Command that deletes the channels specified in the Delete channel Dialog. It only affects the selected envelopes.

Copy channel values

Command that copies all current frame channel values of the selected envelopes to the clipboard.

Paste channel values

Command that pastes the clipboard content to the current frame channel values of the selected envelopes. Only produces an effect if the clipboard contents includes values for channels that are featured by the selected envelopes.

Create key

Command that creates a key frame at the frame position and with the channel values specified in the Select channels to record Dialog.

Delete key

Command that deletes the channel values at the frame position specified in the Select channels to delete Dialog.

Shared

DropTool

Command that activates the default tool of the currently active editor by deactivating any non-default tool that is active.

Measure

Tool that provides

  • position data when clicking LMB.png in the viewport, and
  • distance data when clicking/holding LMB.png and dragging the mouse in the viewport.

It features a measure info box and an axes info box in the viewport. The parameters of these boxes can be edited in the Tools panel.

Color info

Tool that provides averaged color data for the area around the position of the mouse in the viewport. It features a color info box in the viewport.

Selection to viewer

Command that changes position and orientation of the selection origin to position and orientation of the view origin.

View from selection

Tool that changes position and orientation of the view origin to position and orientation of the selection origin. While the tool is active, changes of view origin are directly translated to the selection origin, i.e. changing view origin changes position and/or orientation of the selection.

Generate new asset UID

Command that opens a dialog that lets you generate a new unique asset ID for the currently active document.

Select all

Command that adds all envelopes to the selection.

Deselect all

Command that removes all envelopes from the selection.

Invert selection

Command that inverts the current selection, i.e.

  • selected envelopes are removed from the selection, and
  • unselected envelopes are moved to the selection.

View

Align to selection

Command that changes view focus, view origin and zoom status so that

  • the view focus is located at the weighted center of the selection, and
  • the zoom status allows for comfortable viewing of the selection from all sides.
