Create Channel Command

The create channel command creates a new channel for the selected envelope with the name specified in the dialog.

Creating a new channel only makes sense if the values of this extra channel can be interpreted during animation. As an example this is the case for animated post processing presets of a Camera.

Create Channel Dialog

The Create channel dialog opens when the create channel command is executed. As far as can be seen, the name of the channel to create has to comply with the following rules:

  • It has to start with 'Val' as channel type followed by '.'.
  • It has to end with the name specified in the properties of the entity that is animated.
